Actually, Dance India Dance (DID) is the version of , Dance Bangla Dance, on Zee Bangla which is encompassed by Mithun Chakraborty as the Grand Master. DID's main motive is to find out the real indian dancing talent.
The Show featured to include the variety of dance culture and style ranging across various categories like contemporary, classical,hip hop,salsa,kalaripayattu,Bollywood,Sambha, Shadow dancing And other dancing styles.In DID, Any Indian person who want to be the part of show, Age Group between of 15-25 year , can take participate in the show. When all contestants who is selected in the open auditions move to next level audition, that is Mega Auditions. In the Mega Auditions the contestants are tested for over all well rounded dance ability,Stamina and the ability to perform under pressure.
At the end of this process , only 18 Contestants will be chosen and Split into 3 dancing groups which name according to 3 judges of the show and each group has 6 dancers of team and started their journey for the Best Indian Dancing Star , And Wins the prize of Rs50 Lacs.

Remo Ke Rangeeley and Alisha Singh from the team, Terence ki Toli, was first Runner up. The Final episode of first season was aired 30th May 2009.

Rajasmita kar was the winner in 3rd Season of DID in 2011. She was from the team of Geeta Ki Gang and Pradeep Gurung from the team Terence ki toli was first runner up. Th final show of season 3rd was aired on 24th December 2011.

Shyam yadav from the team Mudassar ki Mandali, was won the season 4 in 2014 and the final episode of season 4 was aired on 22 Feb 2014.Manan sachdeva was the first runner up from Shruti Ke Shandaar
